Eight years ago, the Washington Post looked into the appeal of Abercrombie & Fitch male models to the gay community. Are the male models employed by Abercrombie & Fitch purposely selected and posed to draw the salacious stares of homosexuals? Or, are they simply portraying a youthful, uninhibited exuberance? The Abercrombie & Fitch catalogues have drawn more controversy over the years than the company’s clothes, which are generally pretty conservative and bland. Campus Men male models wear much less, but have only generated controversy on the local level – and that was just a “Who’s Getting Rich Off This?” controversy. What do you think?
